LINCOLNWAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
2625 West Philadelphia Street
1956
This school, the oldest Township school still in use, is located on approximately ten acres at the end of West Philadelphia Street. When it opened in 1950, it consisted of eight classrooms, an all-purpose room, and a kitchen for a complete lunchroom. It was expanded in 1958. In 1991, it was part of a major renovation and expansion project which added another story to it and, just as with the districts other specialized centers, a larger playground.
